About the Teacher
My name is Mrs. Dickson. I have been teaching for nine years. I currently hold a bachelor's degree in health science, a multi-subject teaching credential, and a master's degree in reading and math curriculum. I am married and have three wonderful children. I look forward to working with your child each and every day.

Reading, Math, Social Studies, and Science
Mrs Minchew is going to take you places in the Reading curriculum, while Mr. Bell dazzles you in the Math curriculum with your number sense. Mrs. Smith will take you from the past to the present to examine your history facts, and last but not least Mr. McCarthy will entertain you this year with the Science curriculum.
Language
This year you will have the right to WRITE all the time with me. This includes grammar, genre (style), and format. I hope you are looking forward to story writing; you can plan on entering story contests to practice for this year's Young Georgia Author story competition.
Grading Policy
1. For an absence, students have three days to complete missing work.
2. In class graded work must be turned in on time; exceptions only occur with written or verbal contact from a parent.

Scheduling a Conference
